Content: The production of this publication was truly out of this world... This printed publication is a 335 page book, with redesigned charts and tables, a structured system and many striking images. The information presented in this book is based on the research of Edward U. Condon, and the Condon Report. The design of this book was built around the detailing of small and large scale moments in book design.
Process: The beginning of the design process for this book included a lot of sketching, calculations, prototyping and measuring. This was an important aspect of the project because a strong structure needed to be established before even thinking about opening InDesign.
Takeaways: The extreme takeaways of this project include learning how to design mass amounts of information and develop a structural system. Another takeaway would be time management, the development of this publication was a long process that required strategic planning of my time. The basis of design is having a strong structure to it and the design of this publication pushed the limit of labor it takes to obtain it, but was completed.
